TIEC is a private, non-profit, self-supporting association of 32 public universities in Texas. Its mission is to identify, develop, and conduct international programs and activities on behalf of its affiliated institutions. Over its 24-year history, TIEC has delivered a broad array of higher education consulting services and conducted numerous cooperative programs and specialized training throughout the world. Located in Austin, Texas, TIEC also operates the Texas Intensive English Program (TIEP), a wholly-owned subsidiary.
