Housing Assistance: Summer Tuition and Housing Packages
Benefits of the T&H Package include:
- One payment at TIEP registration that includes tuition, fees, and housing.
- Accommodations arranged by TIEP prior to student's arrival.
- Lower housing cost than students can get on their own.
The T&H Package is offered in cooperation with University Towers (www.universitytowers.com), a dormitory located a 5- minute walk from TIEP.
Accommodations at University Towers include:
- Dormitory room shared by two students with one bathroom shared among four students, and equipped with a refrigerator, microwave oven and stove top.
- Linen rental included: Bed sheets, towels, light blanket, pillow, pillowcase, shower curtain. (laundering not provided, washing machines available onsite)
- Weekly housekeeping service.
- All utilities are paid including basic cable TV service (TV not provided).
- Wi-Fi is available in common areas. Free Internet in rooms, student must bring Ethernet cable. A computer lab with Internet access is also available.
- Access to a swimming pool, a game room, exercise room, and computer room. All located on site.
- Social activities.
- 24-hour Help Desk and maintenance; a resident assistant on each floor.

To apply to TIEP and to reserve a space in the T&H Package, send the T&H Resident Information and Preference Profile, TIEP Application Form, and a non-refundable, non-transferable fee of $230 (make checks payable to "TEXAS INTENSIVE ENGLISH PROGRAM" or pay online). This includes a one-time $95 TIEP application fee and a $135 T&H Package processing fee. Fees can be paid by credit card at http://www.tiec.org/tiep/cc_form.html.
