Midwestern State University
Midwestern State University (MSU)
Midwestern State University is located in Wichita Falls, Texas, the
economic and cultural hub of the north Texas region. MSU offers its almost
6,000 undergraduate and graduate students degrees in the traditional Arts
and Sciences, as well as pre-professional programs in Law, Engineering,
Pharmacy, Dentistry, Medicine, and Veterinary Medicine. Professional
programs are also offered in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer
Science, Criminal Justice, Education, Nursing and Social Work. Masters
programs are offered in a variety of areas, including, but not limited to
Public Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, and
Education. The University maintains a strong international presence via
letters of agreement and exchange programs with overseas governments,
educational agencies, and universities. Theses programs have helped MSU
attract over 300 total international students to its campus. This number
represents over five percent of total student population and helps provide
a lively campus social and intellectual life. Finally, international
students are serviced by the Office of International Programs. Individual
departments include the Intensive English Language Institute, the Office
of International Student Advising and International Immigration Advising
Center.
