SESSION SPEAKER:

Dr. Peizhu "Pam" Qian — Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Presidential Frontier Faculty at University of Houston (UH) — Dr. Qian leads and directs the Qian Group working on Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) and Human-AI Interaction (HAI) at UH. Her research group develops algorithms to model human behavior, human mental processes, and collaborative tasks between humans and intelligent systems. These interactive systems have been deployed in healthcare and educational settings, where robots help students and professionals learn new skills.
