Ms. Blackmon joined TIEC in January 2022 and provides strategic development and leadership in the implementation and evaluation of effective, quality international programming. Supporting programs in the MENA region, sub-Sharan Africa, Central Asia, and the Phillipines, Ms. Blackmon facilitates global partnership and increased educational access and opportunities.

Prior to her time at TIEC, Ms. Blackmon supported local nonprofit, government, and academic institutions in public programming, object-based learning, and cultural resource management. A born and raised Texan, she enjoys live music, camping, and sharing the beauty of the Lone Star State. She earned her M.S. in Information Studies with a portfolio in Museum Studies and a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Texas at Austin.
