Our theme is Supporting High-Risk Evacuees: Special Focus on Afghanistan and Ukraine. We will be joined by special guest speakers Denise Bell, Partnerships Director for Welcome.US; and James King, Director of the Institute of International Education’s Scholar Rescue Fund; and Roshan Mashal, one of TIEC’s Afghan Fellows. In addition, several of our Texas member universities will share their campus’ experiences.
