Dr. Shipley serves as a living example of the power of international education. A Fulbright scholar in Germany, her research into the lives of German-Jewish women emigrants has resulted in translations of several previously unpublished diaries from the Holocaust. Dr. Miller also studied abroad during her university years and is a first-generation college student who ascended to the highest level of academia. Both are servant leaders who promote excellence in education and inspire their students and colleagues.
