TIEC’s Healthcare Human Resources Experts Providing Key Leadership on PMU Teaching Hospital Project in Saudi Arabia

TIEC has recruited healthcare organizational design and human resources experts from across the U.S. to advise the Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University (PMU) Teaching Hospital Project Plan. The future hospital will offer the highest quality healthcare services for the local population, while simultaneously serving as a national and international destination for education, research, and healthcare.

The Organizational Design & Human Resources Working Group members bring their extensive backgrounds in healthcare administration and leadership to create an effective and efficient staffing and resources plan for the PMU Teaching Hospital.

Daniel Deslatte

Daniel Deslatte, MPA, FACHE, is chair of the Organizational Design and Human Resources Working Group. He is a highly accomplished academic medicine executive with strategic, operational, and financial expertise and a focus on health system strategy and improving the human condition. He is currently serving as SVP of Business Affairs and COO of Health Affairs at The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center. He earned his PhD in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University, MPA in Healthcare Administration from The University of Texas at Tyler, and BBA from The University of Texas at Austin.

Julie Chicoine

Julie Chicoine, JD, BSN, CPC, CCE, is a healthcare compliance and accreditation professional who has over 20 years experience in the healthcare arena. She is currently Director of Compliance, Privacy, and Risk Management at Adventist Health Castile in Kailua, Hawaii. She most recently served as Associate General Counsel at Sidra Medicine in Doha, Qatar, where she was integral in the accreditation of the new 400-bed teaching hospital with 50 outpatient clinics. She earned her BS in Nursing from UT Health Houston and her JD from the University of Houston.

Arianne Quintana

Arianne Quintana is the Executive Director of Talent & Organizational Development at University of Miami Health System. She has more than 20 years of experience in organizational development, talent management, learning, strategic planning, and change management. Arianne earned her bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations from UCAB in Venezuela, and her master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras.
